I have the backing pieces ironed and I am ready to piece then together. If all goes well I should have the quilt sandwich basted together today.
You do so many bargellos. How do you have all that patience. I know I want to do another one, but not before I do about 20 faster quilts that I am looking forward to. Looking forward to seeing this one.

Okay saw the quilt. Gorgeous of course.

Whew! I finally finished the first project of 2016. "Count Your Blessings" with my first pieced border is done and ready for use. My recent purchase was truly a blessing with the FMQ! Still more practice. Thanks for the encouragement.

Wow, your projects look lovely! I've decided to try to do a log cabin pattern for my donation quilt since I've never done that before: blues for the dark side, bieges for the lighter side with a bright red centre. I'm testing out widths, so far the 2 1/2 inch strips are too wide for my taste. I've tried the 2 inch, better but still not sure. Do any of you have a preference on strip widths when you do a log cabin block?

Getting there! I have 5 rows done and starting the 6th row. Then only 2 more to go and the borders. Excuse the wrinkles it's right off the sewing machine.

Coming along very nicely. Love the pattern. I can't wait to see the borders.
