I thought too that they promised we would always get the Birthday Bash weekend? Where is Al... can he tell us why that weekend is not available? We paid same money and sold out... so I don't see the problem.

I meet with Al and he said MSQC was going to be using the Retreat Center.

Not for a Retreat? Does anyone know what? What are the Birthday weekend dates?

I still don't get it ... considering the money we spend and the retreat fees they make.

Plus the business we give the restaurants too. Sheesh... I spend $100.00 a day in the fabric shops alone that one week.

Birthday Bash Weekend if it stays as it has been will be Sept 21-24, 2016.

The birthday bash should be the last week end in Sept. The week end before the 25th.

Bob, I have not been told exactly what the commuter fees will be. Once we get the date of the retreat, I will be meeting with MSQC and will have the exact cost of the retreat both staying and commuting.

Maybe you will be allowed to stay across the street in one of those rooms or something. I have no idea...I do know there were a lot of people that did not stay at the center last year...but that were there every day. Kind of a rock and a hard place.

If you look on the Eventbrite site Bob, they list the commuter fees at the bottom of the menu for the Event.

Or at least they have been. They are the same for each event.

Bob... for most events the commuter fee is $150.00. But that is for events where they furnish the meals.

We have always done our own meals.

I understand that we have always done our own meals in the past. But this year, Al chose to have meals as part of the retreat.

But that fee includes formal, scheduled classes, we had just mini classes put on by members. Will this be the same?

Ok, this post is here for voting on a date. Not going into all out discussions on the why's and why not's of what has been done. Missouri Star needs the Retreat Center for the birthday bash, so other dates have been offered.

Charyti has said that we will be charged the same as other retreats and that meals are included, so I would think that the $150 fee would be the same as other retreats as well.

I like the idea of knowing what I am voting for... Fees, meals, classes, trunk show, whatever. These things could be a factor as to which weekend someone votes for. KWIM?
