It is gorgeous!!
This is very pretty, love the colors.
A real nice quilt. I like those color combinaision. How did you quilt it? What color did you use for the back?
I really like that pattern! I think that's like the one behind Jenny in her "hourglass block" video. I've always admired that one. Yours is just as lovely. A very pretty line of fabrics.
Goodbye Europe! Hello California! Home sweet home.
These are some of my favourite colours and I love your pattern. As a newbie it's one I haven't yet tried...but I will
Nice job!
May your sorrows be patched and your joys be quilted

Rebecca, You got it right! This is the pattern from that tutorial. I am a loyal follower of Jenny on her "Craftsy" tutuorials. I have both Craftsy 1&2 and that's how I am learning how to quilt. Oh and I also follow her on YouTube
Cynthia, hehe. This is actually for my Tante Helene for Christmas. She LOOOVVVES purple! Crazy Newbie quilter that I am, I decided to make one lap quilt for each family for Christmas. I have done 2 so far and have to finish off another 5!!! yikes, i dont know what I was thinking.
a1angiem and mamaquilt: For the backing I picked one of the fabrics from the Lilac Hill line and just did a simple back. I am going to try and attach a photo of it here. Oh and for the quilting I tried and X over the 4 square blocks and a + over the triangle blocks.
Thanks again everyone for your kindness!!
