    Yes, it does end up huge. I chose the throw size. I wish I had paid more attention. This is more like a twin. Much bigger than I wanted to give my friend. She has several health issues and I just wanted something she could cozy up in her chair with on cold nights.

    Thank you everyone. I cannot take credit for the color combo. I based it on a sample I saw in the store. I have been trying for two years to make a quilt for my friend, but I could not get over having to buy pink fabric. I just do not like the color. I would go shopping get disgusted that I couldn't make a choice and come home. I saw this quilt pattern made up in pink shades and asked the clerk to help me get as close to their colors as possible. Without seeing that sample I would still be looking.
