I have one solid and one print jelly roll. What are some of the best patterns to use for these pre-cuts? I'd prefer fairly easy as I am somewhat new to quilting. I've already done a jelly roll race quilt and want something more challenging, thanks for your ideas!

Re: Best Quilts with Jelly Rolls
As others have mentioned, there are a TON of quilt patterns that use jelly rolls. Just do a google search and you'll quickly become overwhelmed (in a good way).
Here's an easy one I just saw a few minutes ago.
Pattern can be found HERE.

Re: Best Quilts with Jelly Rolls
I guess it is your preference. And a lot of patterns can overwhelm you! Especially if you are new to quilting! Like me! I have a tendency to get bored easily. I have thought of doing a jelly roll sampler. You would just take a pattern like Rail fence, X's and O's, etc. and do a row of each kind. I will get to it one day! It's also a good way to try them all and still have an easy jelly roll quilt! :-)

Re: Best Quilts with Jelly Rolls
Jenny's Irish Chain uses one of each. Actually, you can get one twin size AND a large baby quilt from the two jelly rolls. I'm just finishing up my twin size now!

Re: Best Quilts with Jelly Rolls
I am doing the Studio Star that Jenny did a video on last week. It is pretty easy but only uses one jelly roll. You could combine your prints and your solids and make a really nice looking block, then you will have some leftover strips. As a beginner this will give you some extra fabric to begin building your stash. Although you will quickly discover it is not at all difficult to accumulate extra fabric for your stash!Jocelyn
