Attachment 124526I guess my favorite is always the one I'm working on now. However, I was pretty proud of this cathedral window when I finished it.

You have a lot to be proud of in that quilt! It's really great.

That's an incredible quilt. I can't begin to imagine the number of hours it took to make. I really like the way you set the colors in rainbow stripes.

I think the Quatrefoil pattern is a pretty easy and fun quilt to make.
I made this quilt for my daughter (but secretly wish I kept it for myself).

My Favorite is also the first queen size quilt I made. It is my favorite because I used fabrics my mother had purchased, some that I had purchased and some that we had purchased together. I had it quilted by M*QC with [I]Forget me nots[I] I made it after she passed from dementia.

What a great idea for a thread!!! So much eye candy.

This is my favorite for many reasons and I am keeping it.

And this one because it was the most challenging pattern for me at that time. I sold it for $350 and I am very proud of it.

I missed this thread when it was started, and I think it is a wonderful idea!

It made me think and remember all the quilts I've done. I am somehow surprised that actually, my two favorite quilts and those I use the most were both made with repurposed fabrics.

This was the first quilt top I ever made, even before I learnt about rotary cutters and mats. Quilting is not a very known craft in Spain. I was nursing DH and needed to keep my hands busy, and found an old mag with the instructions for a Double Irish Chain. I used scraps from bed sheets mice had damaged. It was also the first large quilt I ever FMQed on my DSM. It's on my bed in my country house (that is on the pic's background) right now.

This other one was made for the Second Hand Rose Challenge. It is my first rag quilt, and the first time I worked with flannel. One side is very colorful, the other was done following Bonnie Hunter's free pattern "Smokey Mountains Stars". The fabric comes from shirts, some mine, some from my deceased father. The almost white (actually, light plaid) background around the stars was my favorite pj's for many years. This one lives in my car, I've used it for improv picnics or naps for these last two years.

Both quilts are technically full of mistakes. I've done much better sewing jobs before and specially after. But they have the added value of the memories associated to the fabrics I used for them.

Hi , that quilt is beautiful what a lucky mum, can you please tell me what the pattern is and if it was hard to do, I am a new quilter but very fussy with my work when I do something. I would love to make this.. also how do I get the pattern sizes for amounts of fabric I need for all the quilt patterns future.
