Default Delayed project moving toward the finish line!

This has been in the planning stages for over a year. It's for a friend's granddaughter who is on a home visit between her missionary trips to Africa. The top is finished, need to quilt it tomorrow!

The flying geese were made using Eleanor Burns method and ruler. I think Jenny did a tutorial on it many years ago. It is a great method, but requires a lot of trimming. That stopped me in my tracks for 6 months!

Love the little houses! Hope they like it!

What do you call the technique used in sewing long strips together by dividing the strips into quarters and matching? There are 14 seams using that technique in this quilt! Gack! I do not like doing that technique, but it does keep things relatively square!

Beautiful work Jean. Not sure I would have handled all that trimming of geese. Bless you.
