I just bought the daily deal of the Bloom and Bliss Rolie Polie jellyroll. I also got the half-hexi template. I have got a backlog of jellyroll strips and my own simple quilt idea didn't look good after I tried it. So, I had to rip all those sewed-together strips apart. Since then they've been sitting for months with no inspiration of what to make with them. I really like Jenny's tutorial for the Floating Hexagons quilt, so I'll try that.

I'll need to increase the size of the quilt as it is 60x78" and I want it to be queen sized...but I guess I'll worry about that later?

It's so inspiring to see how ambitious you are. I seem to have a pattern of being more productive in cold weather, so since it has finally decided to be winter here I am feeling the itch to create.

Still working on the NYE mystery lots of matching seams in this one. Photo won't load, I'll try it again later.

Block 1 of my first Mystery Quilt. Pat Sloan's "My Secret Garden"

The cream border is really bothering me. I cannot decide if I like it or hate it. Maybe I'll make another one with the previous fabric I chose. Any thoughts?

The block is pretty. You have a lot of wonderful piece work in it but it's very hard to see because there isn't enough contrast in the values. The beige and the two light floras all read as the same. A white instead of the beige may help that one read different.
