Bob, what a great way to roll in the New Year. Hope you have a blast!

I stay in these days, dressed in p.j.'s and fuzzy slippers. Food & snacks are simple and we enjoy watching some movies and sharing tall tales.

That sounds like the BEST New Years celebration I have heard of Bob! I'm with ceiliam, probably be asleep by midnight. My DD cannot stay until New Years. She will be heading home quite soon after Christmas. My DH and Mom hit the hay early. Soooo, I'll either read, OR maybe sew. Quiet holidays this year.

Well, Bob, Bernice and I both know that regardless of your wonderful advanced plans, you probably won't get anything accomplished because you won't be able to find your BOBBIN . . .

Nothing out of the ordinary happening here. To bed at the usual time, so I'll be able to get up at 5 a.m., which I do every day. I hope the neighbors will keep things quiet at midnight. What they do on July 4th is ridiculous with their totally illegal fireworks. Keeps the whole neighborhood awake!

My DH is scheduled for day surgery Dec 31. If all goes well, we will be home and asleep together. Sounds blissful to me.

I am usually in bed by 10, so just add me to the party-pooper crowd, LOL!

We are having a sleep over with gd who will turn 5 next month, so it looks like it's gonna be a My Little Pony (that's a kid's movie) marathon and she will have a root beer float. Grandma and Grandpa might have something a wee bit stronger tho!! Haven't decided our menu yet. The little onecwill probably have mac and cheese, and I sincerely hope I can come up with something better to eat myself!!!

Bob, sounds like a lot of fun. I'm part of a Yahoo group (The New Quilt Talk) and there will be a NYE mystery this year using a jelly roll. I'm planning on joining in.

My grandkids are conievers (sp) - they think they are spending the week with me to help me with my first week of retirement. Little do they know!! NO, I will be spending a quiet New Years with husband (just celebrated 40 years) - and sewing to my hearts content. Would love to go to MO, but too far to travel. Happy New Year everyone!
