Default And Here is My Second Ever NCW: Dr. Who

This is my second NCW. The Dr. Who theme is for my daughter, who likes the TV show. The flap fabric is from Spoonflower. This is a Christmas present that I have to get wrapped today as she lives across the country from me. After the holidays I am hoping to try some additional NCW's. This one was easier than the first one, but still very time-consuming. However, I think it could be a lot of fun to continue experimenting with fussy-cutting the fabric for the flaps.

Great job on the fussy cuts! I still haven't watched that show!

Thanks! Forgot to mention that the striped strip on the underside of the flap is from the selvage and the tilted Tardis is appliquéd on.

Adorable. It is as fantastic inside as the outside, and looks roomier inside than the outside, just like the Tardis.

As a long time Dr. Who fan I love everything about this. The Tardis, the tossed Dalek fabric lining - it's all really fabulous!

Thanks for the positive comments! I hope that she feels the same when she opens it. On the outside of the wrapped present I attached a Tardis Christmas ornament and also a Dr. Who necklace (that says "wibbly wobbly timey wimey"--or something like that!)--both are hooked onto the gift ribbon. (It felt kind of like when you go to a baby shower and attach rattles to the gift ribbon, LOL!!!)
