Default Very First NCW for Shark-Loving DIL

Very first NCW. Christmas present for my DIL, who loves all things sharks (go figure). Seemed to take forever, and had to do the flap and zippered section TWICE. Aargh. But it is really nicer IRL than the photos indicate and I think she will really like it.

Very unique. That is the beauty off something handmade, you can truly customize the design for the intended recipient.

You should jump in. There are lots of people to help, both here and on Facebook (NCW Addicts).

It stands for Necessary Clutch Wallet, a pattern by Emmaline Bags.

I'm so glad someone else asked with the acronym stood for...I'm new to the site, and trying to figure them all out. I'm retired Navy and my life has been nothing but acronyms...but these quilting ones have me stumped! :-) Love the wallet...and the fabric is cool (even if I'm not a shark fan). Thank you for sharing...I'm so enjoying looking at everyone's pictures and getting inspired to try something new.

Nicely done, Marci - your DIL will love this!
Denise, I agree - I get a thrill out of making something that is specific to one person!
