Public Service Announcement Re: Golden Ticket Winners

Hi People! I am just bringing something to your attention, and so far, I've not noticed any familiar names doing it, but here goes.

If you win on a Golden Ticket with M*, PLEASE, do NOT post your code and prize for the world to see on Facebook!!! Good grief, I have seen codes for quilter's cash and jelly rolls, etc. posted right there for everyone to see (and possibly try to register to win the poster's prize) with wild abandon. This could mess you up because someone could claim your prize before you do. It will mess M* up when they get twenty people all with the same code trying to claim something, etc.

One lady I saw post her ticket with tape over the code. Good for her! If you do want to post a picture of your ticket, make sure to cover or blur out the code before showing it to the world.

I know we would like to think that quilters wouldn't do such a thing as trying to take someone's prize, but contests can make people crazy.

Not that I have seen. Jelly roll was the biggest that I noticed so far.

I sadly have to agree with you. I think it is great that Missouri Star is giving away ANYTHING - they certainly don't have to and I am very grateful that they choose to do things like this Golden ticket promotion. Of course it helps their business but it is also fun for the people who "choose to participate" and does give us an opportunity to win something and have fun doing it.

I always find it sad that there are those who seem to find the negative and don't seem to appreciate the positive. I dont think MSQC is perfect, none of us are, but IMHO they sure as heck do try to please their customers. I'm just sayin too!
