I looked at the Panasonic a couple of months ago. Good to know you really like yours. Maybe next time. Then again . . .
When my husband & I bought our house 23+ years ago, we bought a new Whirlpool washer & dryer. It's a top load washer. Right about the 20 year mark, the washer broke. I was foolish enough to think I could get one of the new modern front loaders with a few bells and whistles. But no, my husband was able to take it apart, ordered the part, and fixed it. So, they're both going strong even at 23+ years.

Shirley, glad to hear your B&D is still going strong after 12 years. Wish my B&D hand held vacuum would have lasted half that time!

I'd rather spend my money on fabric instead of expensive gadgets. More quilts that way.

I needed a new iron, and it was too good of a price to not buy it

Congratulations on your new buy! You'll love it. I love mine. Only thing is ---- if you sew at classes or other friends homes, remember to put their irons on end! My friends are threatening me with a quarter jar where I have to put a quarter in every time I forget to put the iron up.
