That's beautiful! I love to knit and lately I try to stick to not too intricate patterns I can do mindlessly while I watch tv.

Beautiful afghan. Gotta laugh when I think how many of those I've made and given away. Funny how I think yarn is getting too expensive, but don't blink (too much) at the price of fabric now for quilts.
Show us again when you are finished. The pattern is lovely.

It is very pretty - but please don't post any more - because i am trying not to get back into knitting/crocheting - and spending even more money! Oh, okay, go ahead and continue posting. I am sure everyone would like to see the finished project.

It's very pretty.....I agree with sewluvit, I have a few patterns my mom & grandma taught me over the years that I can do while watching TV ( mostly crochet ). One of my favorites is called "Jacob's Ladder".....after you get the first couple of rows done, it's pretty easy after that.

    GrammaBabs
It was a free pattern from Red Heart during one of their 12 days of Christmas promotions.
Today I was working on it while waiting for my Dad to be done with a 2nd round of tests at the hospital when an elderly man came into the waiting room and said "Good God, how long have you been waiting?" Even the nurses cracked up because he sounded so incredulous.

What beautiful work! I wish I could crochet like that, but I never had anyone to teach me so I stick to pretty simple patterns.
