Scrappy Use

I had a lot of left overs from a quilt for my grandson. I decided that I would do a scrappy version of a quilt that Jenny had a tutorial on. I had just finished a top for a Quilts of Valor out of this pattern and it is perfect for 2.5 inch goods. Amazing what a difference the colors make. And wow did I get rid of a lot of scraps.

Oh those turned out great and loved seeing what a difference in color was for this pattern.

My favorite quilts are those made from scraps. I love the chain look in the Quilt of Valor and how a change in fabrics makes it less prominent in the other quilt. Beautiful work!

I love seeing the same pattern in different fabrics. Both of these are terrific! I have this pattern on my list. Yours are wonderful.
