So, question of the week... Are you a quilt user or stacker?
Do your quilts get cuddled and picnic-ed on and washed and worn, or do the stack in beautiful piles of color that never move other than when the decor changes?

My quilts are definitely used! If I'm going to sleep away from home I take one with me! Lol!

Mine are used, washed, dirtied, washed etc.

Both....the really intricate/expensive quilts to make get stacked; my scrappy quilts are the ones that get used the most!

Both! I have way more quilts than I do beds or couch backs or chairs, etc. so some are always stacked.

Use. No stacking yet, but if I keep quilting, it may come to that ....

Both . . . some are USED and some are hiding in a closet.

I use the heck outta them, and give them to others who will use them. They are meant to be loved and cuddled and slept with, not hung up just to look at.

Both - use most of them but, treasure the ones that my greatgrandma made.

Both, most are used and abused, washed and dried and loved again.

Ours are used. I stack the wall hangings and rotate them.

Quilts, like books, should be used and worn! There are cases where they should be stacked when they are treasured and worn. But mostly used.

I made my sister a quilt. One day, when I went to visit, she apologized for the stain she couldn't get out. It was cough syrup. Her kids were fighting over who got to use the quilt because they were both sick. They thought since it was made by their Aunt, it had more healing powers. So they were fighting over the quilt and spilled the cough syrup. That's the best stain ever!

We use our quilts unless it it a wall hanging!
