    Default Such heartbreaking sadness

I called my sister today to see when her appointment was. the first 8 week ultrasound for her long awaited baby.

No heart beat. Barely the size of a 5 1/2 week baby and no sac left.

Through our tears I told her there were no words to help her feel better right now.
God is waiting just a little longer to send them their perfect baby.

I continue to pray for her healing through this. What's worse it that her two friends have their appointments today and were all due about the same time.
I just can't imagine her pain.
    Quilter since 2013.

HUgs and prayers to you because you already have enough going on, and thoughts and prayers for them.

Oh my heart goes out to you and your family!! We all have either been through this ourselves or know someone who has, and it's true, there are just no words to take that pain away. Take her Kleenex, aspirin, coffee and hugs. When I went through that it helped to be reassured that it wasn't my fault, because you just feel so angry and disappointed you want to blame someone for all your misery. It did help knowing I couldn't have prevented it.

Oh Amy, I'm so sorry for you and your sister. You are right, there aren't words to make either of you feel better. Please send her our sympathies from your friends on the forum.

Oh Amy, I just can't even wrap my head around such horrible news. My heart is breaking for her and your family at this time. I will be praying for all of you and asking God to Bless her in his time. We can never understand how and why these things happen, not in this life.

My heart aches for your sister and her husband. As jjkaiser says, please reassure her that this is not her fault. There was nothing she could have done to prevent this, nor anything to *cause* it. And, as has been said, she needs your hugs. Are you geographically close to each other?
