My sewing involves quilting. I think my most common mistake - who am I kidding??!! I've made every mistake imaginable and don't seem to always learn from my mistakes! I do keep a seam ripper close at hand!

Congratulations to last week's winner! Wow! 2000 points!
In my quilting, I make soooooo many mistakes and they've all been mentioned already. The mistake I make most often (I think) is getting right side to wrong side. So frustrating! It seems no matter how many times I check....oops, where's my seam ripper!!!
Consistent seam and incorrect block layout.

Congrats to Nana2! Have fun shopping!
I think a common mistake is not cutting correctly, or not noticing if the ruler has slipped.
Sewing the wrong pieces together, or sewing on the wrong end of the fabric.
For me it is cutting inaccurately and sewing an inaccurate 1/4 inch seam... :P
Cutting off points and poor matching of seams.
Goodbye Europe! Hello California! Home sweet home.
Not using a quarter inch seam allowance. While with some patterns it may not matter in some it matters a lot.
Expecting perfection every time
my most often mistake is sewing the wrong sides together!
