I tend to agree with this. When I use Kaffe's fabrics I usually use a pattern where I can showcase large cuts of his fabric because his print scale is generally large. But the daily deal today is perfect (color-wise) for a quilt I want to make where I simply want to use coastal or beachy colors. The pattern and scale of the fabric is less important to me than the colors for this particular wallhanging so I think I will give in to temptation and get this scrumptious deal!

That's a good way at looking at it. I like the beachy idea!

I am thinking about it. It seems to me it might be perfect sashing for a row by row since those are all water themed.
I am trying to resist, too.

Okay I caved because of Suzette's reasoning. I blame her.

I watched Jenny's tut last night for Phoebe's Flower Box. I was thinking the DD might look good using that pattern. I have other KF fabrics on hand. Some already are made into blocks, just waiting for me to finish the UFO. I have sooo many UFOs, but I'm gradually chipping away at them. I'm still sitting on the fence whether to buy the DD. It's not like need more fabric! lol

I'm generally not a Kaffe fan but this one has me tempted. May have to get it even though I've put myself on a jelly roll moratorium.

I'm on the fence. I've bought a lot of Kaffe yardage recently and I do have some of his 6" strips. Trying to resist, but I adore those blues!

I also like her reasoning so I put them in my shopping cart. We'll see where it goes from here.
