    Question Zipper quilt

What pre cut and fabric line would you use for the quilt?

If you like black you could use Sylvia. I love this and might do a color like teal instead of white.

I think you need a color choice first, because it's so graphic.

I had done several of the zipper pattern for quilted shades. I had used The LIttle Black dress charm packs. I loved it. I've also done some purses using a slight variation of the zipper quilt using various charm packs. One was the purple Pappillon (sp?) and also one using fall patterns (can't remember the name and of course The Little Black dress line. It would be nice in a combination of batiks and solids (the small squares being the solids perhaps).

Mmmm... I second Little Black Dress for a neutral look - might be hard to get that line though. I think just about anything would look good in this pattern!

Carlie, thank you so much. They have the charm pack and the jelly roll. Which one should I buy?
Jenny said that if making a twin then get the jelly roll. You are so sweet for finding it for me.

Lori if you haven't already I'd call them before you place an order. I only did a google search and while they say they have it on their site I'd double check. Little Black Dress was put out by Moda I believe and I think it may have been discontinued so what is in stores is most likely from orders placed that hadn't been sold. So make sure if they are a source for it that you purchase what you need to complete the project.....just a thought :-) I've never dealt with the company but just found them on the net.
I had purchased charm packs but I can't see why the jelly roll wouldn't work do. If I recall, off the top of my head, what was needed were 2 1/2 x 5" strips and 2 1/2 x 2/12 squares. (but do check the pattern instructions as I could be wrong)
