              Congratulations to LJ Tulip!

I'm really excited about what I'm working on. It's a vest to wear to Jenny's class here in Sacramento on Thursday. It identifies me as a member of THIS FORUM. I can't wait to meet Jenny.

I am making the jacks chain quilt but shifting it so it does the circle pattern. I will need about 450+ 3 1/2 inch 9 patches. So I cut lots of strip sets and every now and again that gets monotonous so I shift to the actual block. During the day at work I am carrying with me a baggie of 3/4 inch hexies that I can work on with english paper piecing for the center of the overall block. I started out with 40 fat quarters and 6 yards of onasburg. I have a flat rate priority mail box full of 9 patches. I want to sew a nice variety so I have to have a large pool to choose from. Fortunately/unfortunately there is not room for another project. So if someone pops a button or tears a towel, it will have to be put up until I can start putting a large dent into blocking with all these little pieces.
Blogging ahead.....research in quilting and sewing with a dab of cooking/recipes too.
