I am primarily working on the Vice Versa BOM . I have one more pair of blocks to make but I don't like one of the pairs in the pattern so looked around for a replacement. The replacement led me down the path of learning how to foundation piece which is one of my goals for the year. On Sunday I watched a craftsy class that I purchased on sale last year and finished my first foundation piece sample.
Now I have to take the foundation pieced block pattern I found and adjust the size so it will match the other blocks in the BOM. I'm working on a practice block to make sure I've got the size right. Then I promised myself, back to finishing the BOM before I move on to something else. I really liked foundation piecing and my craftsy class has a few more projects to make that I want to try to improve my skills.
My secondary project is an English Paper Piecing (EPP) "prototype" made of hexagons. This was a project for me to "get out of the sewing room every once in a while" (spoken in hubby's voice) and to learn how to do EPP and to see if I like it. I LOVE IT. Really I could stop working on it now because the prototype has served its purpose but I want to finish it. I am also going to challenge myself to bind it by hand and maybe, just maybe, quilt it by hand. EEK! After the prototype I will move on to another EPP project.
I am quilting on a baby quilt for practice.....donation...again. I am sorting red scraps and cutting into usable size squares. I am sewing little baby shoes and assorted toys. I am piecing on some old UFO's.
I am trying to get the quilting done on my finished quilt tops during my vacation.
I have 2 done and at least 3 more to go before I am done.

God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.
Congratulations to LJ Tulip!
I'm currently working on a couple of different projects. I have a couple of quilts ready to be sandwiched, then quilted, but my newest passion are the NCW (necessary clutch wallet) Very addicting.
I have been trying to finish a piano key border that has been sitting here for two years. I am also making halfsquare triangles for the border of another quilt top. I have had too many outside projects going on right now to really zero in on the quilting. Maybe now that the temps are almost 100 with high humidity, I can stay inside and get something finished.
