This week I will be starting my very first quilt project! With the help and guidance of my very sweet MIL, I'll be starting the 'Summer In The Park' quilt!

Congratulations. I am currently quilting on the Dressed to the Nines quilt I made a while back.
Blessed are the children of the piecemakers for they shall inherit the quilts!

I am making the jacks chain quilt but shifting it so it does the circle pattern. I will need about 450+ 3 1/2 inch 9 patches. So I cut lots of strip sets and every now and again that gets monotonous so I shift to the actual block. During the day at work I am carrying with me a baggie of 3/4 inch hexies that I can work on with english paper piecing for the center of the overall block. I started out with 40 fat quarters and 6 yards of onasburg. I have a flat rate priority mail box full of 9 patches. I want to sew a nice variety so I have to have a large pool to choose from. Fortunately/unfortunately there is not room for another project. So if someone pops a button or tears a towel, it will have to be put up until I can start putting a large dent into blocking with all these little pieces.

    Congrats LJ_Tulip!
I am working on a quilt for our bed (yaaaayyy!) Also need to finish up the Mommy Poppins bag - hopefully this week! Also working on a hand stitching project - it's called Boutis (a French version of Trapunto - very cool)... Various other projects in various stages around too

Throw quilt in You've Got Mail pattern for my daughter. Top is finished, need to do machine quilting and bind.
I have a Dresden plate lightweight queen quilt in progress.
Two projects in the planning stage are a Bargello wall hanging and making one of the popular clutches that so many are posting about on this site.
There is a new stash of polka dot fabric from a recent fabric swap that is calling to me as well....
There are so many projects in my head but never enough time.
