    Default My first NCW (mini)

Last weekend I made a backpack, post http://forum.missouriquiltco.com/sho...-backpack.html.

So this weekend I made a matching mini NCW. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, especially since things like this aren't my normal project. I'm sure I'm going to want to make the full sized NCW at some point.

That turned out really nice! I like how the flower ended up centered on the flap.

I had several scraps from the backpack and found the best option for the flap, so it was sort of planned.

Very pretty! Will there be more NCWs in your future? They are like potato chips, nobody can eat/sew just one!

How cute is that! I figured a mini would be harder than a big one but I might be wrong? Let us know when you give the other one a go!

Love yours! I've been trying to get up my nerve to try one of these. I do mini work but this is a new thing for me.
Did you have a pattern or did you wing it? I have seen the Bionic Bag and other bags that are larger but made in the same fashion. But I want to make a min version.

That is gorgeous, love the fabric and the placement of the flower! Hoping my hardware arrives today so I can finish mine up.

Do you alter the full size one to make the mini or is it a seperate pattern?

I read through the complete instructions for the regular one before doing the mini since the mini uses much of the directions from the regular one. I think the only difference is the width, which means the credit card pockets are different, but otherwise I think it is the same except not as wide.
