    Default Picnic quilt initiation

Nana and Nandy (Great grandparents) and Jonathan have had their first picnic on the picnic quilt.

    Happy grandma, too far away.

This is such a great quilt. Is it an Irish Chain? I think I need to try this pattern soon!

What did you use for batting? I have a top I'm going to convert to a picnic quilt, just need to quilt it.

Yours is really cute! Looks like the little one is enjoying the picnic!

Oh I like the quatrefoil in those colors. Great choice for a picnic blanket
Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without.

Terri, it's the quatrefoil quilt that Jenny did the tutorial for.
I used the thin dream weave cotton for the batting.

I knew the colors would look great is Nana's house. My son and DIL are so lucky to have them to help with the kids.

I have made three quilts for wedding gifts and I am going to include a picnic basket and a bottle of wine. I want the couples to use the quilts. Love your picnic quilts!
