made this out of the left over scraps I had from all the Paris bags I made a while ago. I even had to piece a couple pieces to get one big enough to use.

Nice! You all are killing me with this design!
Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without.

    This one is adorable!

I like where you put your D ring hooks as opposed to where the pattern says to.

I think they work better there. The pattern way would pull on the sides of the flap. Just make a loop with fabric, sew the D ring in and sew it in when you sew the main pieces together. Some will sew it to the flap and then lay the lining on and sew around. might be easier to hold it in place that way.

I'm going to do that thanks. Do you have instructions for the inside strap around the zipper parts?

I haven't done that yet. Jean has. There is a pdf on the fB page. pm Jean and ask her to tell you how she did it, or maybe she can just send you the pdf if she downloaded it.

I did one, but just went as I sewed it. I made a piece like a strap that would fit from under the pockets (where the 1" area is) then up the side of the pocket and and an inch, then however more you want the strap to go down on the other side. I sewed velcro on the end of the strap and also on the part where it meets the wallet (on the flap). I also put a small loop of ribbon on the one end where the velcro is just for looks. That's right, looking at the picture, I ran the ribbon the entire length of the strap and folded the one end under to make the loop area.
