Getting a really good deal on something I can use in quilting, whether it be fabric or tools. Case in point: Last year I picked up some fabric samples at a thrift store. There were probably 50 squares, none alike, 9x9 with labels stapled to them. $1.23! I have a friend, who just bought a king size bed and mentioned in passing that he needs new blankets.... Aha! How often can you find a king size quilt top for $1.23?

When I get new fabric, from a store, through a sap or from an online order, it feels like Christmas every time! '

I am amazed that your one year old is able to do so much at such a young age!!!!! I guess she got that from her Mother!

When I get fabric and know which of Jenny's tutorials I am going to use the fabric for.

    Congratulations Ladies!

I get that high-flying feeling when my grown kids spontaneously give me a hug and tell me they love me.

    Congrats winners!

I give most of my quilts as gifts. I love to quilt and take time to choose the fabric and pattern to compliment the person I am giving it to. It makes me most happy to see their reaction when they receive it!

Flyin' high means a new tutorial from Jenny, and it's one I really want to make, and I have the material, and I get the quilt top done!

    Congrats to the winners!

I get that high flying feeling when I accomplish something that has really challenged me or seemed out of reach. Whether it's getting a student to understand a math problem, completing a quilt/project, or something else.

    congrats!!!!! all .

I get that Fying High feeling when I make and give my little Bears that Care/ Charity Bears to the elderly a nd kids in need. This feeling is a gift from giving, I guess. It's been healing and strengthening, yet sustaining. The joy they get from the girt is delightful,
but the joy I get is somewhat magical. I love it.
