    Default Jelly Roll friendly quilt

This was such a quick project and so easy if you're looking for an 'instant gratification' quilt. If I wasn't working 40+ hours last week, I probably could have finished this in two days. But, piecing the top took one week from start to finish, working on it for about an hour each day. It took one jelly roll to make the lap size quilt (60" x 76"). I used the "Strips Ahoy" pattern by Turning Twenty. The jelly roll is called "Fancy" by Moda (designer is Lily Ashbury). I didn't use the narrow border, as the pattern called for. I just used yardage. If I followed the directions for the narrow border, I would've had to buy a variety of extra yardage or another jelly roll. Thank you for looking!!

Oh this quilt is great! I love love love the fabrics you used. It looks like it is just three strips put together but your fabrics make it looks like it has a bunch more fabrics. You did a great job on this and it sounds like working on it one hour a night was just what you needed. It is beautiful and I can't wait to see it quilted.

I love it! Much nicer than a fence rail. I need to look at my stash!
