Default Suggestions for 2" strips and squares

I find myself with a growing stash of scrappy 2" strips and 2' squares. I have made an Irish Chain but would like ideas on what to do with the rest of them. I know I could use them as corner stones and sashing but I have way too many and I would like to use up as many as I can in a quilt. Any suggestions on a block or pattern would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Check the free patterns tab on Bonnie Hunter's blog, Quiltville Quips and Snips . There are several patterns there for scrappy quilts using 2" strips and/or squares.

You could make log cabins, 9 patches by making rows of matched strips sewn together then cut, 16 patches or 25 patches sewn strip to strip and cut, MSQC's new rail fence and 9 patch quilt tutorial, roman stripes, etc. Lots of ideas out there to try.

You could make some of the Strata Star table toppers like JeanneWa posted earlier today. They are pretty dramatic.

The 2" strips would work well for a string quilt.

HSTs from the squares!!! They are my new favorite thing! Oh, and 9 patches like Quiltlover said. Nine patches are my favorite, too. You could combine those in a billion ways. Have FUN!!!

There are several Youtube tutorials on how to make the blocks -- some of which use the Accuquilt, but it is not needed; you can draw the circle with other tools or even with any circular item around the house (dish, etc.).

I have been cutting up old jeans to make several of these quilts w/ jean material and various 2" scrappy squares. May splurge and actually get a package of 2" square batiks to do one.

    Best wishes!

Jelly roll race with blocks interspersed in it. Since it's an easy scrappy quilt, you could finish it in no time.

In class last year we made little christmas trees from 2 inch squares . Mine are all given or put away bit If you are interested I will try to find the instruction sheet. The strips or even squares would make quick mug rugs, mouse pads or maybe a table runner .

Aloha I've made these with 2" strips and thinner. Jenny tutorial Foundation Piecing Strip Quilt. I'm sure you can make them small squares.
