Smile It's starting to look like a sewing space!

Hubby and I finally took some time to start creating our crafty space. In the second photo with the big empty corner, that's where his two 3D printers will live. We have fun with our hobbies, especially when we can hang out and chit chat while we play

I call this room the garden room as it has beautiful garden doors opening to a nice deck and our lovely backyard!

I want to see the quilt he'll create with his 3D printers!!

What a great start to a wonderful time spend doing what you love best.

I want to know what you are going to do with the printers too. The other day on the Today show they had a fancy beaded dress and I was like how the heck!

    And your room is beautiful!

Thanks everyone! I'm excited for the room to be taking shape and become functional!

Jean, my husband is a design draftsman in oil and gas. He works with Computer Aided Design all day long. He's actually very artistic and has been fascinated with the 3D technology as it has been evolving! He's starting to become like all the sewing machine enthusiasts...soon he will have a whole room full of them and I will kick him out of the garden room

I will post a few of the items he has printed once we unpack them. He has not done a ton of designing of his own items yet, mostly due to time and because people ask for things that someone has already thought up and shared on free sharing hubs! I sewed lap quilts for his nephews and he printed them each a puzzle cube with their names on them and apparently the gifts were the hit of the Christmas haul. He even designed a new clip for one of the wheels that broke on our old dishwasher, a part for my brother in law's reciprocating saw and he has an order for a plastic piece to fix a Kitchenaid Mixer!! He's anxious to get things up and running again.
