Let me tell y'all something ---- these photos do not do the blocks justice! I've had the privilege to see some of them in person last fall and they are awesome! The blocks are meticulously perfect, Teri is a super quilter. I just stood in front of her design wall and admired them.

Great job on working to the finish line Teri! It is a beautiful work and I can't wait to see it done.

I imagine your stash has felt the bite! I'd say you'll be a piecing expert by the time it's all said and done. It's turning into a stunner. Question - is your sewing room covered in scraps? I've noticed when working on scrap quilts that my sewing space looks like it has rained scraps. hahaha It was getting so bad that I ran down to the Blokker (variety store) and bought small, clear plastic bins for every color. I'm short two bins. I bought out their inventory a week or so ago. I hope they get more so I can grab what's needed. It sure does make a difference. I was using extra large freezer bags for each color, but it was too hard to see what was in them without dumping the whole bag out on my table.

I just have to put my 2 cents in. I have been privilaged enought to see this quilt in person and let me tell you the picture does not do it justice. It is amazing. the thought and time she has put into each block shows when you see it. She is quite a quilter and friend.

That will be incredibly beautiful when it's finished. Many of the blocks are not simple to make and you've done a great job making them. I love the four little baskets at the far left of row #2. Each block is special in its own way....love it!

Reminds me of a Dear Jane quilt which has intricate 4.5" blocks. I never thought about Learning to quilt by starting with one of these, but it would certainly throw you right in there. By the time you're done, you'll be an expert! Your quilt is beautiful!
