Cut up fabric, hah! My beloved brother (who gave me a home in Cleveland when I had none) quipped, "Why is it that you BUY large pieces of fabric, CUT THEM UP, and then SEW THEM back together - makes no sense to me!" He was, of course, being silly! Cut 'em up indeed we do!

Welcome Pam, Thanks for sharing your journey to a new and better life. Your work and housing situation sounds wonderful, we all wish we could have one like yours. Keep quilting, it's a God send for many of us.

Your name sounds familiar. Were you a member of any other quilt forums? Maybe Alex Anderson's or Clara's Quilting Cottage?

Pam, thanks for letting us get to know you.

I'm glad you feel so comfortable with all of us. This forum has kept me going when down (even if I did not express it) and has supported me immeasurably when we lost one of our fur babies. I know that may seem petty compared to your situation, but at the time it was important to me and the forum came to hold my hand.

Please share some pics of your projects when you can. Would love to see them.

Not me, but my mom's name is Pat Harris, who is as obsessed with quilting as I am, it might have been her - that sort of thing happens alot.
