    Default Somewhat new to Quilting~~~

    Hello All...
I swore I was not going to get into this "HABIT" but, I am feeling...Pear pressure-LOL
My name is Kim aka:lakemom from Ohio.
Actually, I have made several rag quilts which I have thoroughly enjoyed but, have stepped up to the next challenge!
We have a craft group here in our neighborhood and I have always been amazed at the wonderful quilts these girls have made. I took a class several years ago making a top using strips but, they never showed us how to finish this thing. No binding-border-backing-NOTHING! So after spending a small fortune on material- I am determined to actually learn how to machine quilt and finish this puppy-lol
The workmanship on the galleries here are just beautiful so...with alot of hesitation...I THINK I CAN DO THIS!
Best of luck for all of us...Kim

Welcome! I'm new to the bulletin boards, but have been quilting for a few years--though not too long.
There are a lot of tutorials through the MSQC, as well as others, and it's easy to catch on! You'll do awesome!

    Welcome Lakemom,
To finish that quilt you should watch the 4 MSQC tutorials of Jenny making a baby quilt. She explains it all very well. I am so glad you found this super group of talented quilters!
