    Default New project

    Hi

I started a new project to night. I started to sew aprox 17:30 and took a break around 19:30 to cook and stuff. Then I put in another half hour of sewing time.

I got 17 nine patches done!

I had the colored square already cut but I cut out all the lights one and started to pair them upp.

I have an idea what to make them in to but I will keep that under wraps for now.
I want to try my idea out first.

Here are a picture of to nights endevor!

    Thanks for looking!

God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

Those are lovely I just saw a quilt somewhere that used that style of block they were set on point but I can't think of what went between them but it was very cool. I will see if I can find it. So many quilts so little time
Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without.

Nice start who will this be for? I thought you were going to show us the quilt from Ron and Jenny already.

He he I need fabric for that one. I will do it as soon as I have the right fabric.

This nine patch project has no recipient yet. I am browsing the internet for ideas on how to build on to it.

There are a lot to look at and draw ideas from
