    Default Rue Indienne

I've been really busy trying to catch up on projects I had purchased. Finally got the Rue Indienne quilt pieced . I think I'm going to give my pattern perfect set a try and quilt it in the scallop design. I assembled that yesterday and it took me the WHOLE day. I now know every possible way NOT to assemble it. I have a practice piece on the frame now so I don't make major mistakes on the quilt. I'm also going to try and practice with the feather template that Jen had suggested in case I want to toss a few feathers into the quilt.

Turned out I had enough left over to also do a table runner.

Ooooo! I love both of these -- beautiful fabric! I just downloaded a free pattern for the HST diamonds. I can't wait to try it.
