    Default Subdued, not so much

My son's request... a long table runner with subdued colors. 'We have blue and green in the dining room'.

yeah, yeah, lol, like I haven't been there.

Jim made a very rustic farm table that he and Morgan want a table runner for. BUT, he told his dad he was going to make a new table with extensions that pull out. So I'm like, why am I making a table runner now?

Anyway, being the good Grandma that I am, I know that my two precious grands aren't going to want to sit at the 'subdued table' so I'm making them something not so subdued but every table appropriate. Here's the first block.

(I did buy enough of the subdued blue, green and white to make Mom and Dad something boring.)
