Lightbulb A clever idea recycling for a quilt display

Occasionally I go to quiltsby.me to check out all the lovely's people have made. Someone uploaded a picture that they had recycled an unsafe older baby crib into a display for quilts. This is clever! Check it out....

    It is clever.
I've actually been on the lookout for about a year for an old crib like this for quilts, scarves, and such.

Every quilter should have a baby crib for all purposes. I remember seeing one that was used for fabric storage (on bolts) with a cutting table on top - but can't find it now. Check out some of these though: https://www.google.com/search?q=upcy...ed=0CAcQ_AUoAg

It's a great idea! So many slats to use. I was driving home from my Dad's one night about a year ago and saw a white one sitting out for the trash. It didn't take me long to pop it into my car. I took off the hardware (gave all that to hubby to put in his garage) and I just lean the 2 sides up for hanging quilts. I have so many wall hangings, it's great for them cause you can get more of them on for display. I don't think DH would appreciate it if I would hang every single wall hanging I ever made. I would have a new wall color for sure!

They make excellent quilt rack display, especially for large quilts that don't display nicely on those Big Box Stor quilt racks! Here's mine!Click image for larger version.
