Congratulations Louise!! Don't spend all those points at once now.
I have never made a signature quilt here either,as a matter of fact never even gave it a thought yet.

    Congratulations to Louise!
I've actually made 3 siggy quilts. I was asked to put one together for our parish priest when he was made a bishop. That gave me the idea to make one for my MIL & FIL when they each turned 75 years old. It was fun, I got all the kids, grandkids & great grandkids to sign blocks. They loved them.

I've never made a signature quilt. Sounds like a great gift for a wedding or baby shower.

    Grats LRM!

I never have. I may add it to the list now though, it would have been fun to get everyone's squiggle when my great aunt had her 89th birthday blowout a few months ago. Something family treeish...

Well, in a round about way, I have.

Ten years ago, my heart was deeply touched by the plight of a woman named Terri Schiavo. As she lay dying, I sat quilting and praying that a miracle would save her life. I promised myself that if Terri were allowed to live, I'd give her this brightly colored quilt.

As most of America knows, Terri Schiavo died a horrific death by dehydration. I still have the quilt. And when I met Terri's mother, I brought the quilt with me; she kindly autographed the quilt for me.

Not your traditional siggy quilt, but a profoundly meaningful one for me.

I haven't made one yet but when I retired last November the people I worked with gave me individual triangles with a signaturevon them. I just need to make a quilt out of them.

    Congrats to LRM!

I personally have not made a siggy quilt, but I should would like to try! I have one that was made by the members of my maternal grandfather's family. I haven't figured out the pattern yet, but maybe someday, I will....
