Default Bad Day Turned to Good!

My day didn't start well when someone backed into me and wrecked the side of my van. Good news is no injuries and no fault of mine so repairs are covered and I get a rental car. But then my day got really exciting when i happened to be scrolling down my Facebook newsfeed and imagine my surprise when I see my own little wallhanging! Aurifil Thread somehow found my post about my Sew On and Sew On block (you can see it here):
Over the Kitchen Counter: Angie's Place for Cooking and Crafts: Sew On & Sew On Block
and shared it on their FB page! I was soooo excited and I couldn't believe it!
Then today I got an email that Alex Veronelli of Aurifil Italy is following me on Twitter and tweeted about the block! I was just very excited and wanted to share with fellow quilters. We don't often get recognized for what we do so it is very sweet when it happens spontaneously!!

Have a super day my lovely forum family!!!

Congrats on the recognition by Aurifil. That does trump a car accident where no one was hurt. Now.....to get that van repaired and on to more wonderful quilting.
