Death is too good for those who use sewing scissors to cut paper.

My kids learned that lesson in there teens (they had part time jobs) when I gave them a "coupon" for Piece Goods (since closed) and told them which "Ginghers" to buy me for Mother's day... The PRICE did it!!! The explanation was easy after that..LOL

    Works for me.

I told my kids, "if the handle is plastic you can use it, otherwise hands off"! They always ratted out my husband for breaking the rule!

My family makes fun of me..."Oh, can we use those scissors or are those the FABRIC scissors?" This is always said sarcastically. I just laugh, at least they think about it before using any scissors!

I'm pretty sure I caught her looking at one of my quilts this weekend. Not that I cut paper with fabric scissors or anything, but I seem to have done everything else wrong.

Very good! I had to educate my DH on which scissors to use and which ones to leave alone. He said "Does it matter" to which I replied, "Do you want me using your good butcher knife to edge the sidewalk?" He now understands
One yard of fabric, like one cookie, is never enough!
