    Default Giveaway Week 13 Mar 27 - Apr 3rd

Congratulations to jomala1951! You just won 1000 Quilters Cash Points! I loved your block choices too! So many good blocks and points of view throwing around on that last thread! I'll have to mark it!

This week is coming up on Easter! Love the spring, and the bunny, and the chocolate! I know, there's a lot more things to think about and much more important than bunnies 😊 but since we're thinking on Easter and spring, tell me you're favorite color scheme for this season and maybe a project you think it would look good on 🌸

To enter the game just hit the reply to thread button at the top or bottom of this page and answer the question! You only get one entry per contest round. A winner will be chosen by random selection in about a week to win our next 1000 Quilters Cash Points! Then watch your private messages cause I might be sending one your way!
To stitch or not to stitch... There is no question.

    Congrats Jomala!

I'm liking the green, teal, purple collections (Think Horizon and a few others). I will probably pair that with a nice crisp white and make a Four Seasons or something similar.

I'm using lots of yellow and orange lately--though they aren't my favorites--I think it's a subconscious wish for spring!

My favorite color scheme for the spring is white + yellow + green with a splash of other bright colors. Appliqued flowers on a white background with green pieced accents for a full size bed quilt is a project that would highliight this color scheme. Dresden plat flowers may be a varaiation that I will try also. Using tumblers for wonky flower pots also would be a great use of these colors.

I am liking the current trend of oranges, greys, and turquoise together. I am not sure what project I would sew with that color scheme. But it would look fantastic in my stash, on my stash, making its way to my stash. Because of the modern look to this trend of colors I think it would have to be a modern quilt with a "Charles Eames" take on maybe a nuclear symbol like block.

I like purple, yellow and green for spring colors and would like to make a tulip applique quilt or table runner.

A colour scheme would be pastels, used perhaps in a table runner.

The pale shades of green, yellow, peach and lavender with tiny flowers would make a nice dresden plate or fan quilt.

Pure white, pale violet, and sunshine yellow with accents of lime green. This would look just wonderful on a table runner for my Easter dinner table.
Toni ... If I keep sewing long enough, will they make their own dinner?
