    Default Ninja skateboard quilt

The countdown is on, grandson #2's birthday is Tuesday. I haven't been able to get to finishing this til this afternoon. This is the first big quilt I've done with my upgraded longarm, FiFi Pfaffie got a little persnickety about her bobbin threads and how they were wound, but she settled down and did a nice job finishing the job. I just need to bind it, don't know if I'll get a chance to take a picture when it's totally finished, as I'll be shoving it in a bag and giving it to him!

Here it is, I used Year of the Ninja by Riley Blake and French Vanilla background.

Ninjas whirl around, so do skaters, so I quilted it using swirls! Besides, it's one pattern I'm pretty comfortable doing with some consistency!

This quilt is so cool. Wish I had a young man to make one for. Maybe I will make one and save for the boys who were recently born. Your grandson is going to love it.
