    I like the simplicity of the log cabin block, no points to match or small pieces to cut, just strips. There are so many variations with fabric choices as well as block layout.

    I will always love the Log Cabin Block. The first quilt ever made was a log cabin lap throw, made in a class offered by the local high school about 25 years ago - back when the really thick batting was popular. Like "big hair", the fattest batting was the most popular!

    I really liked the square in a square quilt. I liked it so much I made 2.

    Easy and makes an impressive looking quilt no matter what fabric - Double Slice Layer Cake.

    I'm really enjoying the Boston Block. I just learned two new ways to make it and I'm using it in the border of my quilt that I'm working on.

    I like the log cabin....there are so many ways to change it around with different colors, intensities, widths of the strips....
    So many fabrics/books/recipes, so little time.....

    I like the log cabin block because of the variety you can create with an easy block, but I really hesitated because the jelly roll tube quilt blocks can also be very versatile depending on widths, contrast, arrangement. Does it count if I just say I love quilts?
