    First attempt at half-square triangles. A bit of a pain and the points aren't perfect but got the hang of it by the 3rd block. The fabric is pretty. Lining up all the points, borders, and corner squares was a bit challenging but I think the top is quite pretty! Got the 'ball of seams' in the middle of the pinwheels on a couple of the blocks and then they just disappeared and everything lay flat after that - maybe depends on how I was pressing the seams. Haven't bought the backing yet but thinking about the plain cream...the binding is the small green check fabric. Thanks for taking a look!

    Gorgeous, I really like the colors and you have done a great job with the points. For a first attempt it is exceptional. Give yourself a pat on the back.

    You will really be THE expert on HST's after making this quilt! Sandy, don't we have a crown for that??? Seriously, it's going to be a gorgeous quilt.....
