    Default Bendable light

Has anyone purchased the bendable light that was the daily deal the other day. I received mine today put it on my sewing machine easy to install but I am not sure whether I like it. It really is bright. I have to keep it to the back of my machine because if it shines on the place it makes it to bright. Would like to know your thoughts.

I should have purchased it for my little Heavy Duty Singer...the light on it is useless.

Boo hoo hoo, I went to buy it and got the dreaded SOLD OUT message. Dang I hate when that happens.

I bought it but probably won't get it for a couple weeks since it is being shipped to Canada. I will let you know how I like it when it arrives.

But, in the meantime, if you are unhappy with it being too bright, put some gauze or cheesecloth (the stuff you might have in the kitchen) over the light and secure it with a rubber band. Since it is LED, it won't get hot so no worries about the fabric against a hot light. Lots of photographers use this trick to soften lights for their photographs.

Once I started using the Bendable Light, the brightness didn't bother me at all. Having more light to see was just the trick!

Mine is to be delivered tomorrow...will let you know when I get it, but there can never be too much light on the needle for me. Right now I use a daylight led light and move it in front of the needle. I also have one of those led's to wear on my head and aim down on the needle--- feel and look like a miner.... :-)

I bought a bendable from a LQS a couple of months ago. I like the light, but it has become a necessary since the light bulb on the PQ1500 burned out and I can't seem to get another from the dealer. They keep sending bulbs for 220 current. I'd order online, but shipping a cheap delicate object and getting it in one piece is a problem.

No one in town sells the 1500, and a lot of the machine dealers are in quilt stores. They don't repair or stock bulbs.
