    Default Washed Fabric

I recently bought a yard of Michael Miller black fabric. I washed and dried it and now it's full of lint. I tried using a lint roller, it didn't work. I'm glad I only bought 1 yard. Any suggestions?

A stiff brush usually works, or a sweater shaver if you happen to have one.

Did you dry it in the dryer?
I have that same problem with a lot of black and navy clothes when I wash them. This started when I got a HD washer without a agitator. I frequently re-wash but it doesn't make much, if any, difference. If I put them in the dryer most of the white comes off but not always all of it. I think it is very fine lint but not sure.
Is anyone else dealing with this problem?

Yes I dried in the dryer, so I thought I should just wash it again and put in the dryer. Still covered with a very fine lint.

I had that trouble with dryer sheets in my HE dryer. Until I bothered to read the tips that came with the dryer. You're not supposed to use dryer sheets in the HE dryers. That may not be your issue, but I wanted to mention it just in case.

Thanks starlover, I'll try washing again without a dryer sheet.

Well my dryer is the old fashioned kind but this problem is when they come out of the washer. My pants get hung up in the hopes they won't shrink since I am fairly tall. After they are dry I put them in the dryer on fluff to remove wrinkles and also the lint.
