    Default Hash Brown Casserole

Wonderful standby that most of you already have.

1 pkg hash browns (can use either southern style or shredded) thawed
4 C. shredded mild cheddar cheese
    16 oz sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup
4 Tbl of chopped rehydrated dry onion flakes

Mix all ingredients together, reserving 2 cups cheese for top.
Put all of it in a 4 qt buttered casserole dish.
Cover with remaining cheese. Bake at 350* for 45 min.
If using shredded, it taste just like Cracker Barrel's

Have a friend who makes one similar to this - she adds cut pieces of heat and serve sausage links. YUMMY!

We also add cooked bacon and top with buttered corn flake crumbs - because there's not enough fat in it as it is.

Yum! Did you know you can make quiche with thawed hashbrowns
    instead of a pie crust?
