    Very pretty.

Do you have a particular pattern for your attic windows you can share? Are yours done with Y seams?

    Beautiful quilt!

A couple of days ago I was looking at the attic windows, for a quilt I'm making and now I've seen 3 or 4 posted here in since then.

No. I do not use Y seams. I pick the two colors I want to use as side and bottom pieces.
Put them right sides together and cut a 45 degree angle on the ends. Sew them together. Iron open. Then put on the cutting mat and make sure I have a good 45 on the cutting mat then cut along the vertical strip cutting through the horizontal piece. Then sew the focus piece to the bottom horizontal strip. After that is ironed open I sew it to the vertical side piece. Cut strip off at top. Iron open and it's done ---ready for the sashing

When it's done it gives the appearance of a Y seam without the trouble.
