    Finished my first UFO this year

    I know Christmas is past - but there is a Christmas coming. So I finished my first UFO for this year. Since I missed some points, I quilted them with a little silver stitch. It doesn't show too much, althought I'm still not satisfied. I tuckered the whole star on a picture frame. Here are some pics. and on to the next project. There are just too many!

              That is an ingenious way to cover a missing point - love it!

              Reminds me of the fabric Al chose for the quilt he's working on.

                  I love the blues & the silver thread. Don't worry about a few missing points. I think Jenny says finished is better than perfect. I had a seam that just wouldn't exactly match when I sewed blocks together in a recent project. I ripped it out 3 times to try to get it to "nest". Didn't happen. Finally gave up & accepted not perfect. It probably won't show once it's quilted.
