    Default One Little Change

I made my first zippered pouch from a piece of fabric and applique I was using for practice. Then I got the bright idea to add the center of the flower cut from the interior fabric. I think it made all the difference between an okay pouch to something really cute! Gotta love those Hawaiian flowers. I think these are in the right order to show before, inside, and after. These zip pouches are addicting. I've made several more with the zipper oriented in different places. I'm using the Quilting Gourmet method, but want to add the little tabs like Jenny.

This is sew cute. I will have to remember this idea as well. It does add a little pazzaz to the solid fabric.

    Great job.

I thought about putting one of my hexie flower on it. I like your flower idea also to give it a little style

Very cute. Your addition to the flower definitely was the finishing touch to the bag.
